HYTES Announces Fundraising Results
and Corporate Update

HYTES thanks you immensely for your
generous support.
On August 6, 2005 Helping Youth Through
Educational Scholarships ("HYTES") held
its inaugural fundraiser and launch party.
With the generous help of our sponsors,
donators and new members, we raised $2,611.00.
Our accounts receivable for the event
is $64.00 and expenses totalled approximately
$167.00.
Our goal was to raise enough money to
send one person to secondary school for
the 2006 school year. The amount raised
is actually almost enough to send two
people to school. Tuitions will be paid
before December 15, 2005.
We now have 17 new members bringing our
total membership to 23. If you are interested

Corporate Update
We sent our application for incorporation
to the Federal Government on July 15,
2005. The government has informed us that
our application was approved and that
they are mailing the incorporation documents
August 23, 2005. We will set up a bank
account as soon as the documents arrive
and we will then deposit all funds raised
at the HYTES launch party.
On June 8, 2005, HYTES sent its Application
to Register a Charity Under the Income
Tax Act. This process generally takes
between 6 and 18 months to complete. We
will not be able to provide income tax
receipts for any donations given before
our application is approved.
