HYTES Announces Fundraising Results

HYTES thanks you immensely for your generous support.

On July 8, 2007 Helping Youth Through Educational Scholarships ("HYTES") held its Third Annual Summer Fun Fundraiser at the South Calgary Community Association Hall. With the generous help of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters we raised $7,607.00. Our expenses totalled $740.40.

The funds from this year's fundraiser will pay for approximately 19 scholarships in January 2008.

HYTES provided scholarships for 23 students in 2006 and 78 students in 2007. Our current focus is on secondary students in Guatemala, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
